About This Course
The aim of this course is to introduce you to the education for active citizenship and its dimensions. We take into account its goals and the methods used for its promotion. Then, we analyse how it can be used to improve social and communication competencies and the impact of informal learning at school. The importance of a whole-school strategy and volunteering are also addressed. Lastly, we look at the case study of education in Europe in the context of the European citizenship.
